Karmiris Studios are located in a beautiful hillside location of Keri Lake with wonderful views over the Ionian Sea and the uninhabited island of Marathonisi, sometimes known as Turtle Island as it not only resembles the shape of a turtle but it is also where the Caretta Caretta turtles go to nest.

The studios are surrounded by beautiful countryside and olive groves making it ideal for leisurely walks or bicycle rides.

ACCOMMODATION

The accommodation at Karmiris consists of both studios suitable for 2-3 persons and two bedroom apartments suitable for 4-6 persons. The studios consists of one double and one single bed, fully equipped kitchenette with utensils and cooking facilities, fridge, separate bathroom with shower, TV, air-conditioning and furnished balcony with sea views.

The apartments are the same but have two separate bedrooms both with a double and single bed.

The traditional village of Keri remains uncommercialised showing a real insight into the Greek way of life with its rich cultural values and traditional folk singing, as well as being one of the prettiest places on the island. Keri Lake is part of the National Sea Park conservation area which protects the endangered loggerhead turtles Caretta - Caretta which nest in the area.

The waterfront is dotted with tavernas, shops and bars. The small harbour shelters local fishing boats and day trip boats that offer trips to the stunning Keri Caves and the little island of Marathonisi (Turtle Island).

Nearby is the scuba diving school for those seeking adventure and a once in a lifetime chance to witness the marine life.
