Villa Mare is situated amongst the scent of the pine clad mountains and lush green olive groves on the scenic road leading to St Nicholas Bay on the north coast of Zakynthos Island.

The peaceful traditional area is known as Makris Gialos and has retained its natural beauty as it remains untouched by commercialism and therefore still traditionally Greek. The stunning sandy beach of Makris Gialos offers frequent trips to the Blue Caves and the apartments are located close to the centre of the village and many traditional tavernas.

This brand new villa is beautifully decorated and located in a quiet and peaceful view with sea views.

The Villa Mare is divided into a spacious two bedroom apartment suitable for four persons (3), a studio suitable for 2-3 persons (2) and a two storey maisonette suitable for 4-6 persons (1).

All are fully furnished with double or single beds, kitchen with all utensils, fridge, toaster, kettle and cooking facilities; bathroom with shower, TV, Air-conditioning and furnished balcony or veranda with amazing panoramic sea views.

There is a large BBQ area outside the villa which guests are welcome to use.

LOCATION

Makris Gialos is located on the north east coast of Zakynthos and has a superb sandy beach, one of the cleanest on the island. The area is quiet and relaxing, still traditionally Greek and has not been commercialised for tourists. Close by is the natural health spa of Xigia which is known for it healing properties.

The villa offers magnificent sea views over the Ionian Sea and is the ideal location to visit the famous sights of the stunning Blue Caves and the famous Shipwreck cove with the port of Makris Gialos. From the port St. Nikolaos you can catch the ferry to the neighbouring Island of Kefalonia.
